Job Description

The Paralegal plays a key role in supporting Labor & Employment litigation by partnering closely with attorneys, clients, and case teams to drive efficient case management, discovery, and trial preparation. This role requires an experienced, detail-driven paralegal who can independently manage complex tasks, support trial teams on-site, and ensure high-quality legal work product throughout all phases of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare complex L&E legal documents, discovery materials, wage and hour analyses, and trial preparation deliverables.
  • Maintain case organization, calendaring, docketing, and compliance with procedural deadlines.
  • Conduct mid-level legal research, cite checks, proofreading, and review of federal/state filings.
  • Support discovery efforts including drafting shell discovery, coordinating document collections, reviewing documents, and preparing privilege logs.
  • Manage subpoenas, personnel record compilations, deposition preparation, exhibits, transcript databases, and witness coordination.
  • Provide on-site trial support (including out-of-state travel) and assist with appellate filings and post-matter close-out requirements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and colleagues to anticipate client needs and ensure consistent, high-quality case support.
